If not do the dash caps look nice I am doing a full resto and want everything to be as good or better than new. If you have installed a dash cap please post pics. 5foot2 Posted November 28, 2004 Share Posted November 28, 2004 Ebay is a good place to look, it's hit or miss of course. There was a perfect 280 dash on ebay a week or two ago. Hugh Posted December 11, 2004 Share Posted December 11, 2004 Yeah, my dash has a cap on it that came from the previous owner. It's very cheezy. However, it looks a lot better than a bunch of cracks... and to the casual observer, it looks like it belongs in there. Me, however, I know its a cap, and I don't like it. The car it is coming out of was shipped back from Japan 15 years ago (US model) and the dash, center console and heater panel were damaged during shipping (theft). Anyway, the shipping company replaced the dash, center console and heater panel with new ones. The dash is still soft. I was going to put it on Ebay, but wil sell it w/ gauges and heater panel for $500 shipped w/in the continental US. It is still in the car and will be pulled over the X-mas holidays. Just a heads up.
