That really looks great, I wish it could be done with a S130, but to do that in a S130 seems impossible, as it would be nice I really dont see anyway to do a 3 inch from the turbo back in there.

I guess us S130 guys will just have to deal withe 2 90* bends.

So is this something you came up with one day? Seems I have built about 18 pieces, sold 16, kept two for myself, in fact thare are a few complete systems out there for the ZX cars, complete.

To bad though, I was trying to market those units to MSA a few years back for 850.00 complete and they said there just would not be the demand for the system.

Well I got my system completed, and two other guys as well.

I wish you luck, I would not worry to much about two 90 degree bends as it really doesn't detract from the flow. How do I know this, well lets just say I did a little more testing then just welding pipe together and hoping for the best.

These designs can easily be tested, a simple pressure tap at turbine outlet and where the DP joins to exhaust. Use copper line to wick heat away and attach to your boost guage with a slip on end. In the end nothing beats real world testing !!! It's good to see everyone is trying to optimize a great design.

The huge difference will be going from stock to a mandrel bent aftermarket downpipe. You will gain better spoolup and maximum horsepower, it's win/win.

Keep up the great works guys !!

I just finish installed Jeffp's pipes. Jeffp's pipes are excellent in both design and attention to all the details. I would recommend it to all the ZXs guys out there. I didn't get the whole system because I was going to run 2 pipes exit in the back but then I changed my mind. I had to finish up the cat back pipe. What a PITA. I regret that I didn't get the whole system from Jeff. Luckily I had all the right tools and some good help from my brother. I had pictures on another post please check it out. I would suggest you one thing though .. no need to reinvent the wheel. Also I would love to see a 3" pipe with 2 45 degrees that will fit the 280ZXs. Thanks Jeff...

Jeffp still have 1 or 2 extra sets. Do a search for his name here and you should be able to find his web site. He did a build for a bunch of people awhile back. He still should have the blue print or design for his system some where. Good luck

V.
