chrismoose17
a local transmission guy told me he would sell me a rebuilt 200r with torque converter for $650. does that sound about right. or should i just go to the junkyard and get one for $
JKDGabe
If it comes with a warranty that's not too bad. You might try asking in the drivetrain forum...
Guest 77vegasz
If you are putting much over 300 hp to the flywheel, a stock 2004r might be questionable if you intend to run it hard. A high performance version can be found for 100-200 more on the net. If you are running a fairly stock motor, thats not a bad deal at all. Tim240z
Find out exactly what "built" means. To "build" a 200 4R, there is some machining and expensive parts involved. Just make sure of what you're getting and it may just be a good deal......
spdsk8r
The local tranny shop here said he would build a 200-4R for my specific application for $1200, ie. light weight car, 400+hp, higher stall convertor. Just a comparison for you.
