gexgexgexgex
i found a place that is selling a rb25det motor with 5 speed trans and full ecu and wires ect for 2.5k also the motor has 40,000km on it and comes with a 30 day warranty, is that a good price or should i keep looking, shipping ot me would be about 300 bucks also
EvilRufusKay
I did some sarching on this ahwile back. It seems that all the other stuff involved in the swap make it expensive. The price you quoted seems comarable to the ones i saw when I was looking. Is it a JDM import?

Zhadman
Depends on where you live. Look at the 'RB30' post... there is a brief discussion on RB costs (in AUS). $2500 is a pretty good deal. Will they provide compression numbers? Can you view the motor prior to the purchase? If not... have you seen pictures?
fl327
2500 is pretty dang cheap, I cant get them for less than 3k anywhere.

J Taylor
I paid $1900 shipped for my rb25 motorset.....engine, tranny, ecu, igniter, but with a cut harness which I could care less about. Seems like a good deal, but I haven't yet cranked the motor so who knows. SHould find out in a week or so. JT
