suggestions on results of my clutch removal

Well, I got the new clutch yesterday, so I took the old one off today. When the flywheel came off, my buddy and I noticed that two teeth, about 5 apart are 1/2 way chiped off, and most all the teeth are ground down on the clutch side.

What are your suggestions? (I've never troubleshooted a flywheel before)

Agree, replace the flywheel ,(easy find) and look to the starter to be at fault for the unusual wear on the flywheel.

was this once an auto car?

probably the starter .

Unless you are running a non-turbo clutch then that flywheel wont work. The 2-seater NA 280ZX has a flywheel with a 225mm contact surface. The Turbo and 2+2 models have a flywheel with a 240mm contact surface. Just something to consider.
