DaleMX
In order to overcome the small belt contact the original short belt conversion offered I have added an extra pulley to allow more belt contact area for the waterpump. You have to clearance 1 bolt (the bottom alternator bolt) to clear the belt. I got the aftermarket pulley from ebay and the belt at NAPA. The belt is a 6 rib 55 ¼" long, 060547. jeromio
You can also get pulleys from Autozone - that's where I got mine.
240Z2NV
Forgive me if I'm ignorant; but, the "eBay Pulley" looks to be exactly where my OE tensioner pulley is...am I missing something?
DaleMX
Jeromio: I didn't think to try Autozone, they do have alot of stuff. 240Z2NV: It is, I just moved the OE to clarify that you cant use the idler pulley that was in that position. Phantom
You can see the belt routing I used in a photo in my album. Good wrap in all cases.
LS1 Z
Hey Dale!! I pondered the belt routing also. Without a long story, my belt routing is the same as yours except...... I kept the tensioner in the oringinal spot, upper right (passenger) and I installled the idler (groved) next to the waterpump for added tension. Idler and belt are both from Goodyear. My crank pulley an underdrive from SLP. Anybody interested in part numbers, Let me know! JOEY
