I kept messing with the timing and it would run a little better each time until finally I can't adjust the timing any more due to clearance issues...however, it at least tries to fire on all 8 cylinders. So...I'm thinking I probably just have either the distributor stabbed wrong (I had it 180 out the first try...!!!) or the plug wires off by 1. Wow! That's all I can say. It sounds like a friggen top fueler!! I'm really excited to at least have gotten this far.
