Tim240z
They just haven't updated their site yet. I needed something for my 99 L31/4L60E that I put in my 71 truck
Bernardd
Tim, I'm not too familiar with those ecu's, how do you get the data out and back in? Serial cable to diagnostic port? Bernard

Yes: Serial to OBD port

As with all our software, the OBDII Tuner program is not VIN locked to a single vehicle. Since we don't have the OBDII Tuner up in the web site yet, you can either order via PayPal (to tc@tunercat.com) or send a check or money order to: C.A.T.S. 14327 Dogwood Lane Belle Haven, VA 23306 To work on your '99 Suburban you'll need the OBD2_06 Vehicle Definition File. The OBDII Tuner user interface is very similar to our standard Tuner program that you are using for your Z28. You can download a demo version of the OBDII Tuner program at: http://www.tunercat.com/obd2/obd2tnr_demo.zip To install the demo program just unzip and run the installation program. LS1 Z
How does Tunercat compair with LS1 edit? JOEY
Guest canabob
Does anyone know if the 96/97 LT1 PCM is flashable like the 95? I assume it is, but am hoping someone here can confirm. If that's the case I guess I can stop getting outbid for 95 PCM's on Ebay. Bob
Tim240z
The 96/7 PCMs are OBDII and are programmable on the fly....better than the OBDI version.
Tim240z
How does Tunercat compair with LS1 edit? JOEY As for function and feel, have not used LS1 Edit, so I cannot compare, however, IIRC, LS1 Edit is more expensive and is locked to only 1 VIN... Tim240z
I just received my package from TunerCat for tuning my OBDII L31 vortec. Very nice package, includes everything needed (cables, interface black box etc) and the application is just as slick, if not more so, as the OBDI (LT1) program. It is significantly more money, but is a package deal, so I guess it isn't too bad! Plus!!! the system is not VIN locked and my neighbors have several vehicles with the same drivetrain, so I can likely start recouping my costs a bit

I've been shy about buying anything outside of a custom tune for my truck (2k L31) because of the price and vin locking features. What all can you change with this program? Tim240z
You can change absolutely EVERYTHING!!! Here is a link to the Demo Version. http://www.tunercat.com/obd2/obd2tnr_demo.zip
