PapaSmurf
http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/prod/ED686550 what do you guys think? I've been told that stainless steel lines make for better braking is this true?
280Zone
Yes they are worth it and it doesn't hurt that you are replacing brake lines that are 30 years old or so.
Pop N Wood
They take all the give out of the brake pedal. Rubber lines will swell so you can still get an extra half inch or so of pedal travel once the brakes are full on. That doesn't happen with stainless lines. Once you hit full brake pressure it is like stepping on a brick. Whether that is better or not I don't know. Definitely more solid.
quicker240
yes its WAY better.much better feel and performance.Probably the first upgrade to do on your brake system. Also, thats a pretty darn good price if shipping is free or at least cheap. wheelman
I think that price is a bit high, you can get the same basic thing from VB or MSA for about $60.00. They are better than the stock rubber lines and as stated above the stock lines are probably 30 years old and due to be replaced. 2126
I have to agree with wheelman! They are a little high priced. I, as well, payed around $60.00 for mine from Jim Cook Racing.
