Guest 73Turbo240z
i'm looking at my AZ car radiator, how it's all pretty and aluminum... and thus inherently softer than the rest of my Z. And i feel i should install some kind of buffer/bushing/padding between the Z's core support and the radiator to help prevent/ward off aluminum wear from vibration or rub. Does anyone know where i could get sheets of thin rubber that i could just cut to whatever shapes i need? or perhaps a self adhesive foam piping or somthing like that? Clifton
On my 71' I bolted it straight to the core support. On my 73' I got some rubber washers from Ace hardware and put the between the radiator and support. A piece of foam weather stripping is a good idea at the top of the radiator to fill the gap between it and the core support.
