right now i have a choice...

http://monterey.craigslist.org/car/94000813.html

i know i want a 240z but i kinda want a 1970 240z...i'm gonna be needing it for a daily driver, the '73 has been used for just that, a daily driver. and i plan to do an l28et swap later... what's the better candidate?

unless you need a 1970 to restore for a classic feel of originality, I'd say go with a 73. It had some problems fixed (half shaft angle, transmissions, etc) and side impact beams added. Plus you get little cool storage bins behind the seats.

That said, I'm going to be an *** and call the guy with the 73

Both cars look like reasonable deals since there is probably a little wiggle room on the price.

If you want to go stock I'd buy the 70 since it will have a greater value in resell. Both car appear to have about $300 to $400 in wheels alone.

If it were me I'd buy both and move all the good parts to one car and then liquidate the left overs.
