80LS1T
No I didnt have any problem with it going into gear. Once and a while it would pop out of 3rd gear which makes me think my 3rd gear syncro is shot. My knocking noise was coming from inside the tranny. nazar
I bought a 94 lt1 out of a camaro that also came with a 4 speed auto I also then bought a 96 t56 tranny out of a camaro my question is what do i do about the flywheel? I know these cars are externaly balanced and you have to get your new flywheel matched to your old one, but what if i dont have an old flywheel since my car was an auto? How do i balance my billet steel flywheel that i plan on getting to match my rotating assembly?
Mikelly
All you need is the flywheel and clutch/Pressure plate/ Hydraulic clutch master/slave parts. So long as the flywheel is for that year LT1, you should be ok. Just make certain it is for an external balance 94 LTs from a Camaro.
