But if that's true than it probably has the wrong spindle angle like a 280ZX would. Don't know that for sure, but that's what I seem to remember. Eric Posted September 21, 2005 Share Posted September 21, 2005 i've heard that the s12 front is very similar to the 510. over on club-s12.org we were lookin into using 510 cause they're pretty close in design. also, the 280zx front shocks fit the s12, if that tells u anything about the rest of the suspension. oh, and s13 control arms and tie rods bolt right up to the s12, very similar, if not the same design. s13 coilovers can be made to fit the s12 with minor tweeks. hope that helps. IIRC if you put the 280ZX or 510 strut on a Z the camber is way screwy, like you'd end up with 3º positive camber or something.
