rudypoochris
Just wondering what peoples opinions are as far as the best clutch kit for a ford 302. I heard that the centerforce clutches suck, they are expensive also. I have been looking at the ford racing $160 king cobra kit on summit racing, is that any good? Suggestions? 74_5.0L_Z
I too use the Tilton hydraulic TOB and King Cobra clutch. I have about $400.00 in the TOB including a Tilton 7/8" master cylinder. You can see the specifics of my clutch set-up here: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=87797&highlight=Tilton Mike, how have you been? I haven't heard from you in a while. Are you still in the brake business?
cobraz240z
i used the king cobra clutch when i had my mustang and it slipped i bought the centerforce dual friction and didn't have a problem, my car weight was 2950 with me in it and i would get the front wheels off the ground i had 600hp and i would do 8-12 runs at pamdale race track and blew my head gaskets before the clutch even thought of slipping
