Does "the ends are bent," refer to the spindle pins? If so, did you hammer them out, or pull them out. My guess is hammer, as this will usually mushroom the end, and bend it over as well. "The rear stut doesn go in fu#*," sorry, no idea what the problem is with this description. Making your own set is time consuming and not necessary. IF, the pin is the problem, new pins can be purchased (MSA has them).
Mikelly
Also, If you installed the bushings, did you make sure to press them in all the way? They are designed to be extremely tight so the strut housing will be VERY tight... This is normally a two man job: One holding the strut assembly and the other holding the control arm, and the two working in concert to get them back into place. Also, i think that VB has Spindlepins for about $30 each... They are geniune Nissan parts... Mike
cobraz240z
the spindle pin is gone but that is not the problem its the end of the control arm i think im going to make my own i figure it shouldn't take more than 3 hours to make to considering i dropped and ripped my rear suspension apart in 30 min what do you recomend
Mikelly
I don't know your skill level or abilities, but I can tell you that making your own rear arms is something not to be taken lightly. They see tremendous loads and the fatigue issue is something to seriously consider... I'd just put factory units back on a call it a day. I built and sold them for 3 years... I will never build another rear arm to sell. Mike

And you must have some GOD like skill to get them done in 3 hours. If you want new arms go to Arizona Z. They make alot of good parts for the Z. As far as the arm being bent I'll assume that your talking about the end where the spinle goes into. If you got it apart in 30 min, what makes you say that it's bent? If you changed to Poly bushing you'll need to compress them about 2mm, and lots of grease to get them to slide together.
