Lewis Maudlin
I was just curious how many 1st gen Z's are now running SR20DET's. Mine is going to be finished this week. I am running the T28 with a FMIC, 3" mandrel bent exhaust, a ported and polished aftermarket intake manifold, an exhaust manifold and Walbro fuel pump. Everything else is pretty much stock. I thought about the 550 injectors and Z32 MAF, but I think those things will cut my fuel economy too much. I drive 70 miles a day. Anyone have any other suggestions? Anyone know of an economical way to put in an LSD rear end? Anyone run any 1/4's in their Z?

Guest PROJECTRB240SX
Finally.... I Wish I Didn't Have So Many Bumps In The Road Or It Would Have Been Done Awhile Ago. Once I Get Everything Installed I'll Have To Run It Again, I'm Hoping For Low-mid 12's And I'll Be Very Happy.

Guest PROJECTRB240SX
Well I Only Ran It Once On Stock Boost.... Was Happy With The 13.1 And Left. I Never Tried A Run With The 15psi It Was Dyno'd On. So It Will Probably Be A 12.9 Or So With Full Boost On The Stock T25. I Think With The Stock 7psi With Sticky Tires And The Lsd I Might Be Able To Shave The .2 Seconds Off. I Also Forgot To Add That I Ordered A Msd Dis-4 (for Ignition Control And Two-step), Splitfire Coilpacks, And Ngk Iridium Plugs.... So I Think With The Added Ignition Power And Two-step I Can Shave Some Serious Time Off.
WHP
Lewis, I run the R160 LSD from 80's Subarus. I had one in a turbo 510 that had 250-275 HP and it held up. I run them in my 240Zs too. They are stong enough if you are not a clutch dumper/drag racer. They are lighter and well suited for autoX and track days. I paid $100 each at the JY. If LSD they have a silver tag on the rear stating LSD. Most are 3:70, 4:11s are rare. You have to swap in your side companion flanges to bolt to the halfshaft (one bolt each axle stub).
