RB26powered74zcar
He is obviously screaning his calls. Have some one else call him. Know anybody who works in the pizza industry? He might answer a call from Pizza Hut. I think if he were screening calls, he might find is suspisious to get a call from a pizza place in Louisiana, when he's in Indiana.... Anybody want to try that number for me?? See if you get an answer, then just hang up or something.....

BringIt
That doesnt seem to be a valid address. Unfortunetly I used to live in that area about 18months ago or so. I'm going to call some friends to see if they even know if anyone has that engine. Start from the other side of the Story. I do know one guy that had a Z he was fixing up and supposedly got a unaseembled RB motor from someone that he was going to put in his Z. Where did you get money stolen from ? here on the site or ebay? The guy I'm thinking of was a member of this site.
A. G. Olphart
If you mailed the cashier's check, might the Feds be brought in on the mail fraud aspect? Have you contacted the law? (I know, they just issue traffic tickets).

Have you contacted the law? (I know, they just issue traffic tickets). [/quote'] They all seem to put it in the same catagory..... not worth our time and resorces to mess with..... I did just get some good news, sorta. Our county sherrif called me on my cell after he read the email I sent him (not having any idea they acually read common folks emails to them) giving him the run down from begining to end of the ebay transaction/ theft. For some reason, he took intrest in my plea to him via email. He told me to gather up everything I have, to do with this crook, and come down to the sherrif's office Monday, and that he has a FBI friend/associate, that will take the report so they can "get this flea bag" (in his words). He said this FBI dude does this kinda stuff as his job, so it atleast sounds good.... I belive if these guys want to, they can find out everything needed to make that punk theif wish he didn't cash my check. There has to be a trail left behind when you cash a $923 out of state cashiers check....

Guest Stray Cat
Hi Guys I'm new here and have been just lurkin a bit untill I learn something. I gained a little info from another web site that I go to about fraud on E-Bay. If the check was mailed contact the post office and speak to the postal inspectors. The postal service takes mail fraud very serious. BTW I have an 83 280ZX that I've owned for several years and I love my car but with 350k on her she's needin a little help. This seems to be just the place.
