Nissan-Fan
Well, got the Z down to the guy who's helping me with the metal work, and he thinks i should call a frame shop and ask them what there inspection policy is on these cars, before he works on my rails. Now, this is scaring the **** out of me, if we replace the frame rails, will there be a problem getting this thing to pass safety? anything you guys can recommend to make sure it passes? thanks. skipzoomie
This is a very common repair. If done by a competant shop it adds to the safety of the vehicle.
260DET
Unless someone is very familiar with Z cars, how are they even going to know that the work has been done? Unless its obvious of course, unoriginal looking, not painted like the rest....................
EvilC
Yup you shouldn't have a problem at all. Just makes sure the job is done right and neat.
