s3079893 Posted December 26, 2005 Share Posted December 26, 2005 Hi all I have just started my swap, at the moment the plan is to swap a 91 5.0L windsor, with AFR heads forged pistons with a straight lpg setup into my 280zx. So far i have stripped the block (needs bore and grind) and taken out the old motor (I want to get as much done during the summer vac as possible). I am still trying to decide on what manual tranny to get for it (i'm aiming at 350+ hp) any suggestions? i would appretiate any tips you might have for me and here are some pics i have tacken Motor as i bought it the car the block engine coming out Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just recieved my '88 302 HO back from the machinist last week, and have started painting and putting it back together. I too am shooting for around 350 HP when everything is said and done, i plan to use the stock T-5 also. I've also heard that the T-5 should handle around 400 Hp.
