  1. Find a way to put a porsche trans on it and throw it in the hatch... Last thing you want to do is have to pull the engine to change plugs/wires, etc... I've got a SF5 forester and I absolutely hate doing anything to it that involves the heads.
  2. I've got one out of car already. LMK what it's worth to you and i'll grab some pics of the inside.
  3. Welcome back to PA! I'm about an hour up 81, I'll have to head to M/D next time you head to the test and tune. Have a good one! Shane
  4. I've got a stocker off of an 83 ZXt for $50.+shipping (I can get it to philly if you can pick it up)

  6. The intake gets a good amount of heat soak; I would go with putting it in the intake stream before the TB. As for the CTS, I used a carbed T'stat housing and drilled(9/16) and tap(3/8 NPT) on a flat spot near the stock gauge sensor. If you're using a stock EFI t'stat housing, drilling/tapping the stock ECU location should work just fine, just be sure that the t'stat can move without catching on the sensor.

  8. why not try to find an adapter with a t-stat if you're going out of your way to put an after market one on. http://flyinmiata.com/index.php?deptid=4533&parentid=0&stocknumber=04-37310++1994-05
  9. I used it in my DOHC saturn from time to time. Kept it from running like a two stroke. good stuff; gets expensive if you have to feed it in as gas/oil(the saturn used a quart every 1k...)
  10. Has the flow testing taken place?
  11. are those pine needles or crunch spots on the Porsche?? If they're out in the snow, they're out all year round. those interiors will be tripe in no time.
  12. What about removing the anti-sway bar and lifting it up? I would think the anti-sway bar would make a difference... They are putting force on the A arms and those are directly connected to the strut towers. just a thought. On the other hand, if it is that bad out of whack, you might want to get it checked out?
  13. That seems like a whole lot of work to really do nothing. Doesn't seem all that safe... I'm a Tech Ed major and would not want one of those in the classroom.
  14. yeah, throw some nuts/bolts or marbles inside with the gasoline. Just make sure you count them before and after.
  15. But Canadians are so peaceful! I'm glad that no one not involved was hurt, hopefully they get it squared away.
  16. Take a look at the Ron Tyler style of diff mount. It seems to be rock solid.
  17. I'm not looking to compete, rather just have fun with doggie and burn off some energy. If I can get her to work through some of the obstacles, even better! Looks like we have a long way to go... I'm only useful when it comes to food, treats, and petting. Thanks for the reply, Shane
  18. Has anyone here taken a stab at this? I have a 2.5 year old border collie that I got from the Humane Society at the end of October. I am still working with her on her obedience and general manners. As soon as she learns her name and will come back to me without much fuss I want to try some agility training with her. Any ideas on where to start? I'm more or less looking for a flow chart for an order in which to learn the obstacles as well as some diagrams to make said obstacles. Thanks, Shane. PS, what kind of dag(s) to you have??
  19. That solstice is slick; nicve drie train selection too.
  20. Throw it on an extra channel of MS? The boost switches are great unless you want a good tune with the meth. Lean, leaner, leanest, (Meth/14psi) RICH!, less rich, happy. Might be worth looking into. shane
  21. Too bad my dog wants to kill anything with an electric motor. Ever have a dog bit your hand with a cordless drill in it??
  22. Tim Z had one a while ago, but I'm not sure what happened with it. He mentioned it dropping spool time. He also mentioned his cam not liking the back pressure.
  23. Chalkboard the air dam! That way you can write whatever you want and change it with the swipe of a chamois. Shane
