titanium
I'm very pissed at myself for missing out on the ebay wheels today and I'm looking for something thats actually wider then 7". I currently have the Modern motorsports coilovers installed on my car and I'm in desperate need of some decent sized wheels to put some decent sized tires on my car. Are there any affordable and safe setups out there? I'm looking at 350-500hp out of my setup. I have no idea what offset I can use with these. I really cant afford 500+ per wheel but I'd appreciate anyone posting what they have and where they got it.
PUSHER
Diamond racing wheels. I'm using 15x8 but i think they go up to like 17(?)x14 or something insane like that.
Mikelly
I'm using the five lug conversion and plan to use a BBS or CCW style wheel that will be 9-10 inches depending on the flair I'm running. With the five lug setup you can get Ford Mustang wheels CHEAP in the 8-9.5 inch width all day long! Mike

Also how much did you pay for the diomand racing wheels as a set? I'm currently looking at a set of centerline 15x8's.
Mikelly
Yes it is... Opens up your wheel and brake upgrade choices significantly! Mike
preith
Yes it is... Opens up your wheel and brake upgrade choices significantly! Mike Just an FYI. I have AZ-Zcar's big brake setup (the 12.25" kit) with Panasport 15x7's. The rear calipers did require a tiny amount of material removed on the top edge, but that's it. Mikelly
There are options out there for stock wheel bolt patterns, but they are far less in number and more expensive in dollars once you go beyond 7 inches in width. I know several companies stopped making wheels wider than 7 inches in a four bolt pattern. The five lug 300ZX/ Ford bolt pattern just allows for so much more selection is my point, especially when going above 15inches in diameter and beyond 7inches in width. titanium
well I bought my hybrid with the rear disk break thing done already. I'm not 100% positive of which one though :/. Could I just get the 5 lug hubs and swap out my rotors and be ok? What about these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-on-4-5-lug-Wheels-4x114-3-Datsun-Mustang-65-66-67_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43957QQitemZ8028722333QQrdZ1
Guest iskone
Those should work since you have coilovers. I've seen plenty of guys running 5.5bs someone even runs 5.75bs. Note that may not be the case with a 15" Isk

Guest iskone
You need 4x4.5 not 4x4.25, Was that just a typo? Isk
titanium
You need 4x4.5 not 4x4.25' date=' Was that just a typo? Isk[/quote'] Gahh I'm reading stupid ebay acutions saying the 4.25's fit 240z's. Here we go http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/RoadRaceSeries.htm So when I call to order I basicly ask them for the their Road Race series 15x8 with a bolt pattern of 4x4.5 and as close as you can get to 0 for backspacing? Guest 81na ZX
0 backspacing will look really funny 8" wide with 0 offset should be fine with coilovers. (4" backspacing)
Guest iskone
15x8's will have roughly 4.5bs with zero offset. They should be fine. I don't think they would look funny. Think too much wheel will be in the well? Isk
v80z
Daimond Racing 16x10 255 50 16 Kuhmo. I would have to check my order for the offset. They also make a 16x12 that will fit the rears. $125.00/wheel new steel wheel.
