Guest 73TPIZ
Found this while plundering through cyberspace for 240ZR just now and wondered if the Moderators would want to make it a sticky. It has almost every color from 70-78 and a link to a pic of a car painted that color. It would help a lot of people see what their car is supposed to look like if theirs is faded. http://zhome.com/History/ZColorGallary/ Also he's missing some shots of a few colors so if an owner has one of those color cars he would like a shot of it for his list. take care. olie05
Ok what if I want 306 silver metallic? Is there anywhere online I can go price it out, or is my only option the local auto paint store?

cockerstar
Where is the color code located in the engine bay? I have a '71 that's in primer and I want to know what the original color was
m4xwellmurd3r
I don't know the exact location on the 240z's, but on my 78 280z it's on the passanger side of the radiator bracket But that's on a 78. It may be different for a
cockerstar
Awesome! I'll take a look, but I don't think it's there anymore. The door jambs, engine bay, and hatch area have all been repainted in "Ferrari yellow", but I think I'm going to go with the 240 metallic green from the 280z years Any opinions? sparrow6190
pretty cool, nice find I was looking at the 611 red wine metallic, and sure enough when I went out to check what it was on the car it was 611, only had the car a couple days now so I'm just making plans, more important stuff to worry about than paint
