Guest SouthGaZX Posted January 26, 2006 Share Posted January 26, 2006 i have an engine out of my 83 280zx (swapping in a chevy 383). I recently bought 3 280z's from a guy for 400 bucks.. (great deal.. have to drive 3 hrs to pick um up though.. 2 down 1 to go) anyway.. i KNOW the engine out of my 280zx was good... if i have to swap that engine into a 280z is there any connectors that will have to be chaged? like maybe.. fuel injector connectors.. etc.. or will it pretty much plug right in? (dont have my haynes manual on me at the moment or i'd try and find out by comparing a little) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BleachZee Posted January 26, 2006 Share Posted January 26, 2006 If the 280Z ran good but just had a tired engine, you can just swap in the 280ZX block/head combo and reuse the 280Z intake manifold with all of its own electronics.
