IP Address question...

I was wondering if its possible to change IP addresses? Me and my room mate like to play Texas hold'em online but we cant register for the same tournament because its says that "there is already someone logged on from this IP address". We have a broadband wireless router hooked up to our cable modem. I was trying to find a program that changes IP address but no luck(looking for free programs). I dont know if there are programs out there that can do this or not?

Any help would be appreciated!

You need to ask the ISP, they have the option, depending on router equipment, of leasing you multiple IPs... but many cable companies will not, or do only on a commercial basis, meaning you pay significantly more for the same service you have now.

Search Google if you go that route, there is a website you can join that will do it for you, didnt occur to me, as the resulting latency would kill any of the games I play. Shouldnt be a prob for Poker, unless the site security is looking for that. (as it should, to prevent swindles)

Get a VPN or a proxy... free proxies tend to be shitty..... another way i usta do it back in the day.... was my ISP gave me a FREE dial up account... sooo if i was ban on one web board with my DSL i would log in on the modem flame the board and then get that one ban and dial back up!!!! woot.... Yes i was a bad kid....
