Boobala
Could this section be modified so that items are sorted by "Most Recent" by default rather than "Most Views?" I find that most of the "Most Views" items are are ready sold and/or the seller has stopped responding to questions. Thanks
Bartman
In general I think the classified section needs to be cleaned up. People aren't deleting items once they've sold. Can't we make them expire after a certain amount of time?
RB26powered74zcar
I agree with the both of ya..... we need a re-vamp of this section.
CruxGNZ
Know what would be great, just like we had a few years ago, is when you hit "New Posts" it would also show you any new posts in the classifieds. I found myself doing less and less browsing in the classifieds, because I forget it's even there.

Anyways, yes the ads should be auto-expiring and I thought I set that up allready. Need to look into it some. Dan

Now' date=' back on subject. Superdan, the image you posted does show a way to see new items, but it doesn't show new items in the sub-areas. Example: I pick "Enigine Parts" and it shows me [by default'] the "Most viewed" items, I then click the "Last Day" or "7 days" link and it shows me all the newest stuff in all the areas including the "wanted" area. Imagine a newspaper classified section with no sorting order. "Dog and cats living together... Mass chaos." I was simply asking that each area default to sorting items by the most recently posted first. I haven't messed with vBulletin for years, but it seems like it would be an easy thing to change. :shurgs: I'm glad you're looking at the "auto-expiring " thing. Boobala
I see that the sorting thing has been change to "Most Recent." Thank you very much!
