Guest Busarail
I have a Hayabusa powered sandrail that uses a r160 rearend which doesnt hold up too well,Ive broken several stub axles and lots of spider gears, due to the turning brakes.I want to move up to the R200 and Im trying to find out what z's I would find an R200 open diff with low gears(3.70 or 3.90) Id prefer the 3.90 and the push in stub axles, any help would be great. Thanks Tom

Guest Busarail
I hate to ask one more question but do the R200s have the push in(or clip in) stub axles.I can only use that style for my application. Thanks again.
dead2me
The R200 uses push-in stub axles that are retained by circlips that are in the side-gears of the carrier....
pimp1911
According to z31.com. The 3.90 open diff was also on 88-89 NA 300ZX's. I know because I just bought one out of a 88. http://z31.com/differential.shtml
