Non-z gauges reading zero problem

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine has a mid 1990's chevy cavalier which was having problems with the speedometer working ittermittantly. I figured this was due to the speedo cable or something similar and dismissed the problem. However lately ALL of the gauges have been sporadically reading nothing at all. This confuses me and I'm not quite sure how to fix this problem. If anyone has any ideas about what could be causing this I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Probally a fuse blew Take in mind that for some guages ala ammeter you have to have other fuses is ex on my 280z the ammeter must have the normal fuses plus the dome light fuse in to work. (unplugged the dome light since i was constantly openeing and closing the door and killing the battery)
