Valve cover differences

did you really have to post that on classiczcars.com AND hybridz?

I don't see why now, there are different people on both forums...only a few that are on both. Thus he will gain the maximum amount of info from the largest number of people.

Here is an L6 valve cover I found at a swap meet:

This was not a homemade cover but an actual casting. It appeared to be brand new. I ended up selling it on eBay because it would have interfered with my strut bar (it was a little taller than the stock valve cover). I have never seen another one like it.

Looks just like the "Kakimoto" and the "Datsun 3100" both of which I have just learned about this weekend. :) There's a link here which shows pix of the Kakimoto one and look at the post on classiczcars for a pic of the Datsun 3100 cover.
