Lunar240z
It's been bugging me for a while, but does anybody remember this show? In the opening credits it shows this guy getting captured from his apartment. he gets taken to this place where everyone is referred to by numbers, and they're always shooting everyone with syringes. He trys to escape, and he gets chased by these huge balls... i saw a few episodes when i was little, and man that show was weird... anybody remember what it was called? i think it may be called the prisoner, but i'm not sure. CruxGNZ
Sounds like a dream I had the other night, but I saw myself standing in sort of sun-god robes, on top of a pyramid, with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at me. strotter
You said "huge balls". The show you're talking about was called "The Prisoner", starring Patrick McGoohan. http://www.retroweb.com/prisoner.html. For sure one of the weirdest programs ever broadcast on American television (except perhaps Twin Peaks).
tfreer85
Sounds A LOT like a movies called "Dark City," by Alex Proyas from New Line Cinemas. Even if it isn't it, and you thought this TV Show concept was cool, you might like Dark City. Tyson

Guest el240z
the Simpsons had a episode that was alot like that. I remember that Simpsons episode where Marge trys to escape from that crazy cult, and two chrome balls are chasing her. So thats where they got that idea from, pretting interesting. zeeboost
I think the one Alf is referring to is when Homer is "Mr. X" and is spying on everyone in Springfield and revealing everything on his website.
Lunar240z
nope there's an episode where they're on an island, and they've got those round chairs, and homer keeps getting drugged. that's what reminded me of the original tv show. btw i netflix'd "the prisoner" this is exciting. Trevor
My 13-yr-old son and I were just talking about that show Friday evening. Because in the opening credits he is seen driving a Lotus 7. In "The Village" they drive bizarre little vehicles like this, or bicycles....
zeeboost
nopethere's an episode where they're on an island' date=' and they've got those round chairs, and homer keeps getting drugged.[/quote'] Same episode . When Homer runs out of gossip, he begins to make stuff up, and ends up saying something about flu shots given at certain times of the year to control shopping trends -- it was something like that. Anyways, some people capture him, and take him to that island. Yes, I've watched Simpsons way too many times.
