Hugh
I wonder if that tranny would fit neatly into a 240z with an SR20DET. I'll probably be looking into that in the future, when I have the rear end that can handle the power the tranny can.
Scottie-GNZ
Car is making improvements. It ran 9.35 @ 152.5 with a 1.36 this past weekend in the finals at Englishtown, NJ. Unfortunately, the big-budget WRX ran 9.30 but I am sure they now know they have competition.

Garrett76Zt
I talked with Mark today . . . he says the car definitely has 8's in it. That 9.3 pass was at 36psi boost.
mrcheeze36
the cad program is done and he is ready and waiting for orders. No one has ponied up any cash for the pieces. I talked with him the other day about getting just the adaptor. He said he would sell the adaptor + machining to z32 bellhousing for $300. Not bad if you ask me. Hi Garrett, Did you find out what the turn around time will be to get the bellhousing machined and adaptor installed? I should be getting my Z32 tranny this week. Thanks! Scottie-GNZ
The 240SX qualified #2 at ATCO this weekend with a 9.289 @ 154.19!! and the WRX qualified #1 with a 9.14 @ 146. The SR20 car obviously has the power but he has to pedal the car on the launch the manual tranny. The WRX is running an automatic.

stony
nothing like a little AWD to make up for a slower car :>
Scottie-GNZ
I am willing to bet he had to pedal the car in 1st gear. Only explanantion for losing with such a big advantage in RT and having more MPH. Would love to see him put the automatic in that car.

stony
Anyone found any specifics on how this car is built. yea we know it has a Z32 tranny but is it stock. and what is in the rearend as far as diff and axles?? It cant be the stock rearend in that thing.
