Guest RB25DET Z31
What's up everyone. Im new on the forum and I plan on swapping in my RB25DET this June. I just picked up the complete setup (eng/trans/ecu/harness/etc. ) for $2,500. Does anyone know where I can purchase 200ZR engine mounts & insulators?? Having a hard time finding them. Im in the process of gathering all the parts I need. Here is the list: 200zr Engine Mounts 200zr Oil Pan & Pickup Clutch/Flywheel Fuel Pump Z32 NA diff Z32 driveshaft (heard it is direct bolt on w/RB tranny, wrong??) FMIC and a few other minor stuff Any other RB Z31's?? If so, what am I missing??

Racinjitter
I have just started this same swap. Here are a few links...http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=100614 My page...http://www.freewebs.com/racinjitter/... Dramier's Z31...http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=101735 and another Z31 I found at random...http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=101735. I think that is all of the Z31's with RB's in them that are in the states. Good luck with the project!
evoandy
Z32 driveshaft (heard it is direct bolt on w/RB tranny' date=' wrong??) [/quote'] well... Theres a Z32 NA auto, NA 5speed, 2+2 auto, 2+2 5speed, TT auto, and TT 5speed driveshaft. so you're probably going to want to figure out which one of those it is (assuming ANY of them will work...), and then buy a corresponding aftermarket 1 piece unit to fit your car. The stock Z32 driveshaft BLOWS! Buying a new stock one is expensive as hell as well. It would probably be cheaper to just get a custom one made, assuming there aren't any stock driveshafts that would work.... It shouldn't cost more than 3-400 bux.
