texasz Posted May 3, 2006 Share Posted May 3, 2006 Yep, I was watching that auction and that is a shockingly cheap price; MSA sells them for $1800 as I recall. Although you have a good point, the kit is not the end of your expenses on that engine build. There's a lot of machine work, proper balancing, and several other little tid-bits that start to add up after you put it all together.
