SSflyer
do you think you have into your hybrid Z. The sanding on my car seems to be taking forever, and today while I was out destroying yet another coat of primer, I was trying to figue out how many hours I have into this project. It's getting to be like Groundhog Day in my garage. I figure there must be close to 1500 hours over 2-1/2 years, and I still need to paint and reassemble. I'm really curious about some of you guys, like BlueOvalZ, and some of you that fab your own parts. What's your count?
zuhow
considering I've been saying "it'll be done in 6 months" for about 10 years now- I'm guessing about 4,000 or roughly 2 man-years

JMortensen
Agreed. Hurts to think about it too hard... Gained some useful skills along the way though!!!
grumpyvette
yeah, this hobbys rarely got a "FINISHED CAR" theres always "a few more things that need to be FINISHED" or corrected, or changed and as jmortensen , stated " PICKING UP some useful skills along the way " and getting both more tools and higher level skills are the REAL benefits, NOT finished cars
olie05
yeah, I have several man hours into my car... maybe 5 solid months of work over 3 years?
