LS1 240Z Posted July 5, 2006 Share Posted July 5, 2006 im about ready to remove the glass from the hatch of my car, i started poking at it with a screwdriver and all i did was start to tear the rubber, what did you guys do when you removed the window? Tim240z Posted July 5, 2006 Share Posted July 5, 2006 Yeah...don't bother trying to save the gasket, you will either damage the rubber, or break the glass. IF you do manage to get both out in one piece, it is going to be near impossible to get that old, hard rubber back in.....just cut it out like Jon says above and get a new gasket......Trust me....been there done that.
