Tony D
Which heads don't have the notches for the efi injectors? E31, E88, some JDM N42's, just about anything on any engine before 75.
JustinOlson
So what angle is good to mount the injector in relation to the inlet port? I'm thinking ~40 angle would work pretty good. I'm not sure tho. I'll be coming out the the campin I think I have to see what the plan is. Its going to be freakin hot this weekend, so I'm not sure. 1 fast z
~20 degrees relative to the runner is a good choice. Optimum is directly down the runner.
JustinOlson
I was playing around with injector angle relative to the runner. I ended up making the flange 45mm thick and tried to squeeze in a 20 degree angle. Its just not thick enough as you can see how thin the material around the ports where the injector bosses are cut. Options are to either make the flange thicker, or port the head with larger injector cutouts. JustinOlson
Here's a 2" thick flange with a bit of revision. It looks better to me. http://forum.vwsport.com/pics/data/500/injectorport2.JPG Justin

Chewievette
Would you be able to design and cut flanges for a different engine? I have a couple of projects that need flanges and so far your work is the best I've seen. If your willing, we can work something out. JustinOlson
I'm willing to do head flanges for other cars if there is potential to be a market for the flanges. What engines are you interested in having intake flanges machined for? Regards, Justin
Chewievette
I'm one of those crazy guys building a custom head for my Z and I need to have a flange made for it. I have a couple of other projects in the works that will be needing flanges soon but I'm not there yet, so dont worry about it.
