veritech-z
It's been awhile since we've seen a good mystery car, so can anybody identify this: Here's a hint, it's NOT a z...

veritech-z
That's the one, I believe they came with a V-4 Yes a V-4, not an I-4 engine. Those pictures were from the Big Bend Open Road Race, and the RoadRunner Open Road Race (www.bborr.com and www.rrorr.com). Pretty crazy body kit they've got there. Good job, wickedwild! BWRex
looks to me like a full-sized Hot Wheels car for some reason......
TheNeedForZ
Nice little car.
veritech-z
If you go to those links, you'll see an interesting phenomenon that I've noticed: Pantera owners LOVE open road racing...there are more panteras in one place than I would have thought possible, and furthermore, they are actually there to DRIVE FAST! Pop N Wood
To me it looks like it should fold into a robot or something.
zeeboost
Yup, I was with my g/f in San Antonio last month when she saw it parked off the side of the road. She told me to, "Check out that Z up ahead," but when we came closer, I saw it wasn't one. I'd never seen a car like it before, so she swung back around for a double-take. Then I saw the Saab emblem on it -- looked like a pretty cool little car. I would've never guessed it was a Saab, though.
TheNeedForZ
I would've never guessed it was a Saab, though. I wouldn't either. For a company that is tied to aeromotive industry, it sure is reluctant to make cool looking cars.
DavyZ
That's the one, I believe they came with a V-4 Yes a V-4, not an I-4 engine. Yep, V4 and FWD. Engine made by Ford. My dad took me for a drive in one when the Sonnet III was being offered for sale in the 1970's. I loved the car and pleaded with my dad to buy it, but we ended up with a SAAB 99 instead for practicality reasons. Davy
