jnjdragracing
We are going to Carolina Dragway tonight in Jackson S.C.to test the M/T Drag Radials again and the new Slicks tonight. Gates open at 5:00pm - 11:00pm. They have a Pro-Mod race so the track should be prepared pretty good. Testing 60ft. times and 1/8 mile. Might shoot down the 1/4 if all goes well. Wish us luck, hopefully all will go good and this will be the last time to the track before SEZ7. I will post result later on tomorrow, for those who are intrested. jnjdragracing
Well we made one pass with the M/T DR's. Did not spin this time, you could feel them quiver bad but they held. 60ft. was a 1.52, 1/8 mile was a 6.62. It was hot as hell and that really affected the super charger. Super chargers like cold air, not hot. Put the new slicks back on, 60 ft. was 1.42. Not giving out the time with slicks due to our match race with Rip at SEZ, want to keep some things a secret. I hope it is going to be cooler next month. I am going to under drive the Super Charger and test it at SEZ, I think we are making a lot of heat and with it being hot is bad. I plan on posting a video tomorrow showing us racing a Mustang. This is a glance of the outcome for the future for Rip and his Zebra Z at SEZ. Just doing some smack talking, all in fun Rip......... rytherwr
John, Great stuff and thanks for sharing. What did you do differently than the last time to make them hook or do you believe it was the difference in the tracks? Wayne
jnjdragracing
Talked to M/T. They said lowest tire pressure to run was 12psi. Did that, plus they said a lite burnout, did that. Also it was the first run, and it was hot. Super Charger not leaving as hard. Actually we ran faster at the other track, so it was not track conditions, it was weather condtions.
