looking for resistors

I've searched numerous stores, including radio smack, and called a bunch of places for the 6ohm 25watt resistors for the l28et injectors. I was wondering if you guys happen to have where i could pick them up online.

Digikey does have a few that will work - search for power resistors. They don't have ones that are precisely 6 ohms, but they have some that are close.

 

They're often easy to find in junkyards, too. I grabbed a resistor pack off a Toyota Cressida - it's about the size of a pack of cigarettes and has cooling fins on it.

for reference I always check jameco because their prices usually beat the pants off digi-key, but not always. The only thing is that their website always seems bogged down. Mouser is another big electronics store.

Cheaperst i've found. Fast shipping also. Yepo 5.6 ohm is good.

You can also use a stock 280Z/ZX resistor pack. I use these on 280Z/ZX installs because the mounting holes are already there, and it is weatherized so it can be in the engine compartment.

I used te stock ZX resistors as well, for the same reasons Z-Ya did.

There is one year (81 believe, but it may be later, can't remember) where the resistor pack is actually a 6-Resistor unit, as opposed to a 4+2 configuration.

This makes wiring a bit easier IMO because there is one wire feeding power to the resistors, so one connector does it all. On the 4+2 units, there are two connectors, though the power is eventually spliced together inside the ZX harness.
