RacerX
Found this for sale in LA - RHD - Gnose Zcar but take a look at the subtle flares. They look like a custom job to me or does anyone recognize these flares to be mass produced by some company? Here's the link to the ad (would someone be kind enough to assist in posting the pictures of the car for me - please? - thanks!) http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/car/212697954.html thank you, RacerX

hotimport
WoW this is very nice, I think the price is good since the ones in Japan original G-Nose's go for 30-40K there that means this one is a steal deal right on money. Very nice Z is some one will buy it. Just simplly what everyone wants in there garage authentic Fairlady-Z G-Nose. WHAT HAD HAPPENED WITH THOSE FENDER MIRRORS!?!?! EvilC
This car looks like it is a custom RHD....I dunno...flares do not look right, no fender mirrors and not enough info on the car. Hey what do I know, I only owned a Z for a year.
veritech-z
Quoted from CL ad: This 1971 Datsun Fairlady Z represents an excellent custom example of this true Japanese classic sports car. This car has been restored to near perfect factory condition. And then goes on to have: 24K Gold Headlight trim 3 liter motor 5 Speed Transmission Gold anodized Moto-Lita steering wheel Custom exhaust system among other things. A nice car, to be sure, but it's hard to sell it as both factory restoration and a radical custom. 24kt gold headlight retainers? wtf?! on all counts! Surely you are not comparing this car to a genuine factory original Fairlady 240ZG model? If it were a genuine factory-built 240ZG ( and the jury is still out on that one ) then it is far too adulterated to bear scrutiny in a like-for-like price comparison. This car - being 'unique' - is worth worth what ever anyone is willing to pay for it. This car has been restored to near perfect factory condition. Unfortunately, it appears that Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory was chosen rather than the Nissan factory at Oppama where it was originally built.
