tay-fu300zxtt
Im looking to install a rb26dett in my '93 300zxtt (Z32).. Is there a kit someone sells for this type of swap?..Should i just go ahead and buy a 240z and call it a day? Thanks.
stony
Last 2 reponses deleted... The swap in question has been done but there is no kit that i know of at this time. The rb26 will fit but will require lots of fabrication.

J Taylor
A buddy of mine/neighbor, just finished his rb26 Z32 a few months back. He did all the work himself in his garage and it came out very nice. I'll try to get him to get on here and say a little bit about it. nashz32tt
Yep, I have done the rb26 swap into the z32. rather interesting project. At first, it seemed a bit overwhelming, but once you get the engine set in place, things just start happening. David
tay-fu300zxtt
HMM, I need mounts... Were they hard to make?? thanks
nashz32tt
depends on your welding and fabricating skills. Mine are not perfect, but not crappy either. Patience was and is the key. I just set the engine were I wanted it and then used corrugated cardboard to create mockup motormounts. Then I traced the pieces onto 3/16" mild plate steel and cut and welded them. I then painted them just before I permantly mounted the engine. I am planning to put them in Autocad and have a friend cut them on his cnc plasma cutter. But, that will be well into spring of next year. Davi
