Guest zfan
I am going to remove my Ground Control 8" coil over springs and install some 10" springs. The reason is I need more room for the tall tires I am now running. Is there anyone besides Ground Control / cheaper to get the 10" springs at 225 lb rate? Thanks, Mike
OlderThanMe
summit carries QA1 springs just like you want for like $36 each. I used them...

JMortensen
Usually one would install 8" springs instead of 10" springs to get more room. If that is your plan, then you might want to install some longer bumpstops, because an 8" 225 in/lb spring will coil bind on a Z strut before the strut bottoms, and that's bad. Mikelly
I"m running the QA1s as well. Mike, Just make sure you can get enough adjustment to give you the range of travel you need for the strut piston... John C. schooled me on this with Jim McNemar's project car. I've got QA1s in 220-350 sizes and plan to keep a selection on hand for the track... May even go stiffer! Mike
Guest zfan
I loved my 8" 225's but went to a 27.2" tall tire that is 10 plus inches wide so space/hidth is a problem. I figured I could stretch it a bit with the 10" spring in a 250 lb weight. I have plenty of back space its just close on the outter edges. If I can lift it a 1/2" I should be ok! Fingers crossed...LOL! Mike
