jbk240z
Any S30 Z car related screen savers for the typical home computer? Yes, I did use the search button. I have plenty of wallpaper pics for the p.c., but no screen savers. Please help me as I have got the "z hyposwapthermia" sickness!

If you have any of the OS X operating systems you can basically take the pictures of Z cars you want and make them into your own Screen saver. If you do have OS X I can give you instructions on how to do it. Tyson

gvincent
tfree85, I had forgot about this post, I have ton's of Z pictures that change randomly for my desktop screen while working but do not know how to make them into a screen saver. I have the latest OSX release and run a G5 iMac and a 933 G4 Quicksilver. I just thought it would be cool to show off all the Z cars on my screen when I wasn't there as well. I would love the instructions. Thanks, Greg
tfreer85
Greg sorry, for the late reply, I'm currently at work, however when I get a chance tomorrow, I will write up something or figure it out for you, go mac Power . I love my mac mini (currently running through a 32" LCD), how do you like the G5? I have a G4 15" as well, but gave it to my parents. Friend of mine just sold his G5 and is kicking himself for it. tfreer85
Okay well I got around to it tonight. Go to "system preferences" , then "Desktop & Screensaver", click the Screensaver tab, scroll down to "Choose Folder" and select the folder that you have your pictures in. The only problem is, if you have a folder in a folder (i.e. Cars Folder then a "Z-cars Folder") it will only show the pictures from the original "Cars Folder" and none from the "Z-cars Folder" (if that made any sense) Hope this helps, Tyson
gvincent
Thanks for the Help, it was easy, (Of course it's a Mac DOH!) I just created one folder of Pics strictly for my screen saver pictures and left it at that, with no folder within a folder type of thing. I love the 20" iMac at home, runs fast and quiet, a beautiful display and lots of room on the desk! The G4 at works just keeps running 24/365 I never shut it off have never had any problem with it, I did wear out the mouse though. The Dell PC's here at work bought at the same time have already lost hardrives, Comm port cards, power supplies, CD Rom and DVD drives, I guess that is why we bought the extended warranty for them and not the Mac () If something is going to go wrong with a MAc it will within the first year waranty anyway. Buying an Intel Mac soon at work. Greg

I've never had any issues with any of my Macs (I have 3, my oldest brother 2) and neither one has any hiccups that weren't either easily or super readily fixed. Glad I was able to help, I try to scan "www.macrumors.com" and "www.123macminis.com" as much as possible. Tyson
