New wheels, Man this has to be the hardest!!!

I'm going to run 5Zigen FN01R's in 17X10 with +12 offset(6" backspacing) front and rear. 5X114.3mm. To be able to run these wheels, I am converting to Z31 hubs up front. In the rear I'm going to run a 5 lug stub axel with Z31 turbo rotors. I have to run an 8" rear coilover spring to get the spring above the tire.

I have found them as low as $215 per wheel. They are cast, but at that price point I feel they are disposable if I bend 1. You can source these wheels from any discount tire/America tire.

Remember that is a 5-lug conversion with a specific brake modification... That can have it's own inherent costs... and brake system limitations...

Justin that is a nice looking wheel. I am just trying not to swap out to 5 lug.

 

I think I have settled on a set of Watanabe's. Now I just have to find them.

Well I just ordered a set of the TSW Thruxtons in 18X9.5 with +20mm offset. We'll see how they fit... I'll use them as the "rain"/street tread setup.

I really need a 10 inch wheel, but a 9.5 inch for the more "streetable" tires should be OK... I'll end up using spacers, which I didn't want to do, but oh well.
