Tony D Posted January 17, 2007 Share Posted January 17, 2007 in our case, we offset ground the crankshaft to DECREASE the stroke, because we had to bore rust out of the cyulinders. So to keep the displacement at 1998cc's like stock, we had to destroke to make up for the displacement increase boring the block .020 gave us!
