mobythevan
Okay, this is the first time one of my cars running megasquirt has developed an EFI system problem. It is my Talon and it hasn't been idling correctly and using too much gas. Turns out the IAT sensor broke. It worked for around 12K miles. I put in a new one and all is good. Megatune showed a constant -40 degrees.

Tony D
Used part originally installed, or new? GM part, or aftermarket? Curious as to those two points. I can't wait to get home and try the "Z-Ya Critiqued" boxes in my car! Wife called me Saturday and said they arrived...but I'm on this job "till it runs" and no end in sight at this point. mobythevan
It was a new part, but I am think I bought it at autozone. I did compare it to the sensor I bought from DIY autotune and they are different thermocouples in the end. So I think it was poor quality autozone part, but I am not 100% sure. mario_82_ZXT
My dad's having troubles with the MSnS-E ZXT. Seems like the fuel is cutting out, but we don't know if it's the MS, fuel pump relay, fuel pump, or crap in the tank from sitting... Glad you figured it out, Mario
