Dayz Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 Guys, I just bought the poly bushing kit. What is your trick to get the rear control arm mated to the strut. I can't seem to compress them enough to enter the strut. I have search, but didn't find anything about it. Thanks guys, I quite feel dumb on that one. Only install the inner side of the poly bushing (the outer side and metal sleeve make it so that theres ~just~ not enough room. I also used lots and lots of grease. JMortensen Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 I used a C-clamp to compress the bushing, then levered the strut in which pushed the C-clamp off. It wasn't pretty, but it worked. Did you look at putting zerk fittings on the outer ends of the control arm? I think that is well worth the time and effort.
