zfever
Hi all, my gf called and said i was thinking of submitting your datsun to pimp my ride. And in all honesty i have never been so pissed... what an insult!
SR240Z
hahahah just do it to see what they actually can do to the Z
zfever
like add unnecesary weight... possibly a swimming pool in the hatch and a bar on the roof..
justin260z
I've always wondered what they would do to a car like a Z. The only reason I would ever want my car on that show is to re-sell it on eBay. That kind of stuff floats peoples boats though. At the very least you would get 22's, and bags.
SteelToad
Just buy another clunker and when they come to pick yours up, say "Yeah its the one over there", while your baby's safely hidden
zfever
^^^ haha so tru... their show may be interestin.. but there is no way id let my precious Z get publicly ostrasized.
wheelman
I told my family that if they submitted my Z for either Pimp-My-Ride or Overhaulin I'd kick their ass. Not that Foose isn't talented, he just doesn't listen to the desires of the owner and I definitely have a plan for my Z that includes no bling. savageskaterkid
Those are some talented guys, I've seem some good body work happen on that show, there they just cut metal away, rivit in new metal, lots of bondo, then paint. They don't even need a welder, the paint only needs to look good while its on camera, after a few months the bondo will chip away.
Pete84
Or the bondo will dry and crack.
Sparks280zt
Yea i saw that on the VW van they re-did, that was some hack work for sure. I would like to let Foose get ahold of a Z, I like his work.
