HeatRaveR
Honestly, I enjoyed the trailer for the PS2 Wangan game better than this new PS3 trailer. The PS3 trailer makes everything look too shiny/slick and didn't have as energetic a song. The old PS2 one had more shots of the characters so it looked like someone's driving, as well as the gratuitously detailed shots of the Devil Z's L28T engine. I definitely agree that it made it more an anime look and was a nice intro. Can't wait for the anime.

JDMFairladyZX
I just noticed the yellow FD is driving with its flip lights down and off! If thats for aerodynamic reasons then thats pretty interesting. Also seems like the same crew that did inital D is doing the WM anime...even has the same 3DCG as 4th stage... Austin240Z
OH I agree it's gonna happen, S30Z >>> Trueno Haha, i agree with you there. I used to have an 86... everybody I knew wanted one, but mine was a serious POS. Now that I have a Z, everyone I know is actually getting one Z or another. My Z still kicks my 86's ass
Forrest
I just saw the press release about WM anime airing June 8th. This is freaking amazing. I've been waiting for this to happen for over 5 years. Then I saw that the director, screenwriter, and mechanical designer from Initial D stage 4 are all on staff for the Wangan Midnight animation. This is the best news possible. I can't imagine better people to make WM a success. Of course having Tsuchiya on board will be great too - especially since he acted in some of the Freeway Speedway movies as himself. This will be incredible, I can't wait. And yes, values on S30's (especially turbo swaps) will go up.

I was hoping that it would make it to theatres. my car is already orange and loud, I hope that I won't receive too much unwanted attention...but at the same time am very excited about the possiblilty of the series continuing and maybe even spawning a new video game series for the US market. Forrest
It's a really long series, I prefer possibly having 60 hours in TV shows to a 2 hour movie. PPV from Japan gets posted to bittorrent trackers pretty quickly so I think we'll get subbed versions without much delay.
