mikesz Posted March 18, 2007 Share Posted March 18, 2007 Finally found some free time to finish my turbo swap,and the car will start but, not rev.The afm tested out ok and all of the wiring is hooked up correctly.The car will run for a while and then just die.It is an 83 turbo motor with the 83 harness and ecu.If anyone knows what the problem may be?Please let me know asap. big-phil Posted April 1, 2007 Share Posted April 1, 2007 check all you conections going to the ecu. Clean them. You have the turbo distributor right? make sure the plug going to the under side of that is clean. Make sure the flap inside the afm is not stuck and it opens when giving it the gas.
