veritech-z
190's not that hot, where is your temperature sensor located? I ask because sometimes it will read different temperatures depending on where you mount it. I've got mine mounted in the thermostat housing on my L28, and it normally gets up to about 190 if I let it idle for extended periods of time, but cruising it drops back to 160-170. Pop N Wood
Cheapest way I know to get a 2 core is to take your stock radiator to a local shop and have it recored. Get on the phone and get some quotes. I think I had mine recored to a 3 row core.

COZY Z COLE
n/m i forgot about chevy.took the termastat out and now i dont get over 170 If you mean that you are running your engine without a thermostat in your coolant system, this is a very bad idea. By not allowing your engine to reach normal operating temp. quickly you could see engine damage due to condensation in the crankcase, acidity, and sludge. Fuel usage is also affected. Your oil can also contain fuel dilution. Although you live in FLA. you would have little or no heat from your heater. Once again a bad idea to run a car without a thermostat even if it is a Chevy...
